I am sure some people will argue that certain bands do not belong in this discography but there you go.Ĭomments, corrections or additions, or just praise, would be welcome. When deciding what should be in and what should be left out I have taken a rather liberal definition of what is alternative and what is not. Even Facebook turned out to be very useful! Not only did I find a lot of new material, I was also able to update the material that I already had. After a long period of hibernation, I decided to see what additional information could be extracted from the internet. I started compiling this discograhy in the early 80s, going to record stores, talking to people from the scene, and reading underground magazines. Similarly, if a band was active in the 80s but continued into the 90s I have also included that. A number of later releases of material recorded in the 80’s have also been included. This is a discography of tapes, vinyls and CDs released by Danish punk, new wave and other indie and alternative artists up to and including 1990.
